I have been caring for families at Child & Teen Medical Center for more than 30 years. A native of Austin, Minnesota, I completed medical school at the University of Minnesota and my pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. I am board certified in pediatrics.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my career has been the opportunity to follow children from infancy into adulthood – and now even care for the children of former patients. I believe the relationships built over time with families are one of the most rewarding parts of pediatric medicine.

I have special interests in children’s mental health, asthma care, and supporting families with infants who may be experiencing feeding or temperament challenges. Outside of medicine, I am deeply committed to community service and volunteerism.

With my family travel and animal experiences in the past, I am also your clinic resource for any Disney vacation or dog training questions you might have.

I believe trust and communication are the foundation of excellent pediatric care. I focus on building relationships with both children and their caregivers so families feel comfortable asking questions and sharing concerns. By understanding each child and family beyond their medical needs alone, I work to make thoughtful decisions that support the health and well-being of the whole family.
