I grew up on Long Island, about 70 miles from New York City. I completed my undergraduate education at Duke University, where I earned a BA in History, before attending medical school at SUNY Upstate. I then completed my pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and have been caring for children and their families ever since.

One of my favorite parts of pediatrics is watching children grow and supporting families through milestones, challenges, and everything in between. I have a special interest in caring for newborns and new parents, as well as supporting children navigating anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health concerns.

Outside of the clinic, I am an avid fan of all things history and enjoy a good book or documentary with a strong historical focus. I love pickleball, traveling, hiking, and learning about the places people have lived and the experiences that shaped them. I am also a big animal lover- especially dogs- and if you tell me you have pets, I’ll likely ask to see a picture!

I believe the best care comes from building strong partnerships with families. My approach focuses on providing clear, meaningful information so families feel confident making informed decisions about their child’s health. I often say that understanding the “why” behind a recommendation is just as important as the “what.” Children are fun! My goal during appointments is not only to help parents make informed decisions, but also to share a few laughs and create a positive experience at every visit.
